St. Scalabrini Catholic Church was established in 2023 as a beacon of faith, unity, and service within our community.
Named in honor of St. Giovanni Battista Scalabrini, a devoted advocate for migrants and those seeking refuge, our parish embraces diversity and welcomes all who seek to deepen their relationship with Christ.
St. Scalabrini was an Italian bishop and the founder of the Scalabrinian Missionaries, a congregation dedicated to assisting migrants. He recognized the challenges faced by those who were displaced and worked tirelessly to provide them with both spiritual and practical support.
His life serves as an inspiration for our parish, reminding us to welcome the stranger, extend compassion to the vulnerable, and be a voice for justice. His legacy is reflected in our commitment to community service, faith formation, and outreach programs.
To be a welcoming and faith-filled community, where all people encounter Christ through worship, evangelization, and service. Inspired by St. Scalabrini, we commit ourselves to caring for the spiritual and social needs of all, especially the marginalized and the vulnerable.”
To be a dynamic Catholic parish where faith grows, love is shared, and Christ’s mission is lived out in action.
